Weighted blankets are made to fit the body and not the bed. The blanket should lay on top of the bed without hanging over the sides. Because the blanket is weighted, if it hangs over the sides, you will spend the entire night fighting to keep it from sliding into the floor. Blankets are filled with hypo-allergenic and non-toxic, virgin plastic pellets and polyester fiber for softness and to prevent the pellets from moving around inside the blanket, thus providing even, more comfortable weight distribution. Machine washable and dryer safe.
